It is a joint collaborative research project between (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.laas.fr\/public\/en\">CNRS-LAAS<\/a>) France and <a href=\"https:\/\/www3.cin.ufpe.br\/en\/\">UFPE-CIn<\/a> (Brazil). It has been submitted to the 2020 ANR Generic call as a international collaborative research project. It was accepted for funding by both <a href=\"https:\/\/anr.fr\/en\/\">ANR<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.facepe.br\/\">FACEPE<\/a> by late 2020. Its kick off took place on 2021 March 1st. It will target the problem of safe navigation through orchards. More details are available in the <a href=\"https:\/\/wp.laas.fr\/arpon\/sample-page\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">presentation section<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Antoine Villemazet, who is graduated from SRI-UPSSITECH engineer school, has joined the team as a PhD student. His work will be supervised by Dr. Viviane Cadenat (France) and Dr. Adrien Durand &#8211; Petiteville (Brazil). It will be devoted to the design of a visual predictive control strategy dedicated to orchard navigation.
